Beginning Knitting

Learn how to hold your needle and yarn, read a ball band and a pattern, cast on, and the knit stitch.

Knitting Socks

A great way to learn new techniques! I offer classes in: dpn socks, cuff down, toe up, afterthought heel, short row heel, and fish lips kiss heel.

Knitted Cables

Learn how to create classic fisherman style sweaters with cables. Students will learn how to read charts in addition to the written patterns.

4 week knitting intensive

Starting with the knit stitch, students will progress each week and eventually begin working on their first hat!

Knitting Lace

Often mystifying with the number of increases and decreases and yarn overs per row, I will teach you a few tips and tricks to stay on track. Students will learn how to read lace patterns and charts while knitting their own lace swatches.

Knit colorwork

I offer classes in both fairisle and intarsia colorwork. In classes we focus on tension to help create an even garment and avoid puckering for a seamless finished fabric.

Knitting in the round

Learn how to knit in the round with hat that helps to learn ribbing, stockinette in the round, and patterned decreases.

Brioche

With a few tips and tricks, this class will demystify the beautiful technique of knitting brioche. Students can choose from beginner to advanced brioche, which includes increases and decreases!
