Lace Making Classes

Hairpin Lace

Hairpin lace was a popular lace making technique in the 60’s and has had a resurgence with its speed to make lace sweaters.

Shuttle Tatting

Shuttle tatting has a range of applications, including doilies, garment trim, and jewelry. Students will learn the basic stitches, how to move in both a circle and a line, how to read patterns, and picots.

Needle Lace

Think of needle lace as drawing with thread. Any drawing can be turned into a needle lace piece. In a private lesson, students can learn how to create a design and apply different stitches to create depth and texture.
